My colleagues and I can’t thank Kim & Khalifa enough for our adventure team building experience in Oman.

You ensured our safety (whilst keeping the experience adventurous) and we stayed in 2 fabulous hotels (Jumeirah Muscat and Alila in the mountains).

Amazing!

Jamal, the guide, took us places we’d never stop if we were alone, and the food was amazing most of the time!

We had mainly traditional food, but also some Turkish and Indian. We even sat on the floor some times 🙂

The activities were totally great! They were very diverse, so something for everyone! We did everything in the planned program, plus more.

It was quite hectic, we had to get up early every day and rush on, and sometimes we felt it’d be good with a day to rest inbetween. But this was something we had prepared for and discussed in advance. We wanted to get as much as possible out of the trip, and we had time to rest in the car.

If we were without Jamal we would have experienced only a fraction of what we did now, so we’re very happy!

He became like a part of the family, and we miss him already! We felt safe when he was driving, be it on the highway or offroad, he answered all our questions (good or silly), he had great sense of humor, and he really added a lot to our experience. Also, very serviceminded and helpful, and seemed genuinely eager to make our trip as great as possible.

Me and my family spent 9 days in Jordan.

Everything was very well organized and we had a blast.

The children loved the desert and the swimming pools the most, we enjoyed Petra and the hike in Dana the most.

We had a 15 day holiday from Muscat to Salalah.

The length of the holiday suited us well, although we did add an extra day in Muscat, which was worthwhile as there are nice secluded beaches.

Our guide Jamal was great - helpful and conscientious.

The people we met everywhere we went were so friendly.

Hello Kim!

We would like to thank you once again for accompanying us on a super-fun vacation in Jordan during the spring break.

Thanks to you we did really fantastic things, saw, heard, tasted, learned things that we could never have found on our own.

Even our children, despite their noise on the bus, enjoyed your approach to travel immensely.

Dear Kim,

We look back on a fantastic week full of extremes, eye openers and unforgettable moments.

From a number 2 in a vast sandy landscape with only Mars and Jupiter as spectators to a -for some- long-awaited shopping moment in the souks....

From genuine encounters with exhausted dockers, black small people to lonely date farmers...

From your respect for a small hermit crab to the respect for Sultan Qaboos to just go for it and not wait for others...

From our kids' tomfoolery on the sand board, donut, kayak and dhow to our own well-prepared sm***ing practices - matter of limiting the alcohol-free nights as much as possible.

Thank you Kim for continuing to patiently answer our barrage of questions, though not always pertinent, even when Fletie woke you up in the dead of night!

I spent 2 weeks in Oman and I am amazed.

Before coming to Oman I spent a few days in Dubai and Abu Dhabi so I was expecting something similar. God, I was wrong!

For some unknown reason, Oman feels very close to my heart. I am coming from Eastern Europe, so my cultural background is totally different from Arabic countries but still I somehow feel I belong here.

I met only very nice people, Omani people are very respectful.As a woman I felt safer than in Europe: men were not starting at me like in Europe. So big up 👍

I developed interest in the local culture and I already did a short research on jobs, just to see if I can eventually move here (lol). I will definitely come back. Thank you all 🥹

Who we are

Hello!

My name is Kim, I was born and raised in Brussels, the capital of Belgium & Europe. In 2009, I met my beautiful wife Rita, born and raised in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq and the heart of ancient Mesopotamia, who decided to build her future in the capital of Europe after having spent her teenage years in Jordan.

Fast forward to 2012, we’re married! Many (we lost count) ‘interesting‘ experiences and cultural differences later, we’re still going strong and driving the Mikutu force.

In 2014, we moved to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. I worked as a legal counselor for two US Law Firms specialized in Corporate Immigration. Was that my passion? I guess not!

Having worked and being in contact with people of different cultures and backgrounds, I opted to follow my passion for traveling and decided to embark on the tourism journey and to obtain my tour guide license.

A bit later, Rita joined me in my passion! In 2020, we welcomed our son Rafael to the world. You may consider him a citizen of the world. Despite his young age, he visited nearly 15 countries and understands 3 languages – insert proud parents emoji!
